Markazia honors Olympic champion Ahmed Abu Ghosh A source of pride for the kingdom of Jordan and a real example of exceptional and ambitious young Jordanians
Markazia, the sole distributor of Toyota, Lexus and Hino trucks in Jordan, honoured the Jordanian champion Ahmad Abu Ghosh, who returned to his country with a gold medal after winning in the 68 Kgs taekwondo competition at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. Markazia surprised the champ with festivities just outside his house in Amman, giving him a "Toyota Yaris 2016" in recognition of his international accomplishment, which introduced the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Olympic records with its first official Olympic medal.
Markazia honored Abu Ghosh as a champion and a hero based on its profound faith and commitment to support young Jordanian talents in all fields. Ahmed Abu Ghosh’s journey began in 2009, inheriting his love for Taekwondo when he was just a child from his brother the champ Mohammed Abu Ghosh. He was able to prove himself locally, becoming a real star in all national championships. He then started taking part in foreign competitions, regionally and globally, finally crowning his career with gold medal in the 2016 Olympic Games hosted by the Brazilian city of Rio, making a name for himself and his country around the world.
