Markazia Lexus Sponsors Local Show Jumper Raad Nasser on Journey to 2018 World Equestrian Games

Building its rapport with the local community, particularly with local talents, Markazia Lexus has announced its sponsorship of Jordanian equestrian star, Raad Nasser, as he makes his way to the 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG) – the major international championships for equestrianism. The event is scheduled to take place in North Carolina, USA, in September 2018.

A professional show jumper, Nasser began his career in 1985 at the Arabian Horse Club in Amman. Since then, he has competed at various national and international events held in the Middle East, Holland, Denmark, Belgium, Spain and Japan. Through his participation, Nasser has earned many accolades and a name well-known in the local equestrian sphere, emerging as a true icon for young, aspiring riders in Jordan. Nasser will be participating in various competitions around the Middle East throughout the summer, after which he will take part in the WEG show-jumping qualifiers. Should he succeed in the selection process, he will move on to compete in one of the world’s biggest equestrian tournaments, which is held every four years, contending with some of the best riders in the world for a place in the winner’s circle.

This June, Markazia Lexus also sponsored the Arabian Horse Club Championship for equestrian show-jumping under its efforts to support local sporting events and contribute to the development of equestrian activities in Jordan.
