Ooredoo Kuwait, a member of international Ooredoo Group, along with members of its volunteers program, has recently conducted visits to both ‘Yadawi’ center for arts and crafts, and the Sadu house.

The main objective behind the visit to ‘Yadawi’ was to give the volunteers a comprehensive idea about how to recycle waste, sort, and reuse it in manufacturing children toys to be donated to children in need. Additionally, volunteers where able to contribute to some arts and crafts activities such as: knitting, manufacturing tools, wooden carvings, and many more.

The Sadu house visit’s main purpose was to introduce to the volunteers with all traditional Kuwaiti arts and crafts, in addition to the tools and material used in the knitting process of the Sadu. The hosts were keen on keeping visitors interested by taking them through stories of the deep rooted Kuwaiti history.

Through these field trips, Ooredoo aims at encouraging youth to take part of projects and activities that support Kuwaiti culture and raise awareness of history of Kuwait and heritage of its people.
