Microsoft Empowers Non-profits in Bahrain by offering a comprehensive set of cloud services
As part of its Microsoft Philanthropies division and its ‘Modern Non-profit’ campaign, Microsoft has announced that it will be making its comprehensive set of cloud services available to non-profit organisations and non-governmental organisations. The Microsoft Suite of cloud services include Office 365, Dynamics CRM, Enterprise Mobility, Power BI, and now Microsoft Azure to help the modern non-profit do even more good in their communities.
The offer comes in line with Microsoft’s broadening commitment to corporate philanthropies; reiterated by participating as the bronze sponsor for Charity Innovation Conference 2016 held in the Kingdom of Bahrain on 23 and 24 October 2016 at ART Rotana Amwaj Islands Bahrain. Microsoft’s presence at the Charity Innovation Conference for the second year in a row affirmed the company’s mission to deliver great technology within the community space; while meeting their greatest technological needs for a strong societal ecosystem. Hamad Al Saie, Public Sector Business Development Manager, Microsoft Bahrain & Oman, conducted a session titled Empowering the Modern Non-profit at the conference, based on Microsoft’s commitment to empower non-profits to achieve more through cloud computing.
Microsoft also delivered a workshop at the event for a select number of NGOs, with focus on cloud solutions for the millennial workforce and how non-profit organisations can access and leverage latest cloud tools to digitally transform their business, and transform the world. The sessions addressed NGO sector concerns by showing how non-profits can achieve parameters of technological advancement and accelerate digital revolution.
