Microsoft Bahrain announced its Diamond Sponsorship of the Bahrain e-Government Forum 2014, held from 21 to 23 April at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Spa under the Patronage of H.H. Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology (SCICT).

Commenting on this announcement, Ahmed Naeemi, Head of Sponsorship & Exhibition Committee of the Bahrain International e-Government Forum 2014 welcomed Microsoft’s sponsorship and participation, he said “We are pleased to have Microsoft as a Diamond sponsor for the e-Government Forum 2014; over the years, Microsoft had played its role as a technology partner for both public and private sectors delivering on its promises to the Kingdom of Bahrain.” He praised Microsoft’s continued support to the eGovernment Authority’s efforts and initiatives to educate Bahrain on the latest innovations and technology trends. “We invite all technology fans to visit Microsoft stand in the Bahrain IT Expo to learn about the latest trends in technology and experience the latest innovations and inventions.”

Microsoft will also showcase its latest technology innovations at the Bahrain IT Expo between 22 and 23 April providing the visitors access to experience the new generation of its products and solutions that will be available on interactive demonstration stations, with experts on location to offer insight into the ways in which Microsoft is helping empower businesses, educators, governments and individuals to do more of the activities they value the most.

Promoting the true spirit of personalization, Windows 8.1 advances the vision set forward with Windows 8 and delivers the experiences that people want on the latest PCs, tablets and other devices running their favourite modern apps along with exclusive cloud-connected services.

In addition to experiencing the latest Microsoft offerings, visitors will have the opportunity to interact with the Company’s partners to gain a better understanding of the way they provide innovative solutions across a variety of sectors and markets.
