Millennium Resort Mussanah recently showcased its expansive range of facilities and lifestyle amenities to over 110,000 tourism professionals at the International Tourism Bourse2015 (ITB), the world’s leading travel tradeshow and tourism event. Held in Berlin, the exhibition saw delegates from Millennium Resort Mussanah collaborate with the Ministry of Tourism’s pavilion to further drive the ever-rising touristic footfall in the Sultanate.

Maurice de Rooij, General Manager of Millennium Resort Mussanah, nurtured both new and existing relations with key decision makers at the event, meeting with international tour operators, travel agencies and market-based representatives from Europe, in addition to tourism organizations and various institutes to update the global industry on the resort’s latest developments and offers. De Rooij reported that the rejuvenating Zayna Spa was particularly well-received by visitors as one of the resort’s newest and most exciting lifestyle amenities.

De Rooij elaborated on the event, “As a destination Oman continues to capture the global tourism market, with its ever-increasing popularity owing much to world-class events such as Mussanah Race Week, Tour of Oman and Oman Bike Week. A large number of international enquiries were received as a direct result of these particular events, and therein raised the level of exposure for Oman as a bourgeoning destination for leisure and incentive travel organisers. ITB provided us with a platform to present our resort and offer our own unique insights as a highly successful venue”.

Millennium Resort Mussanah is located on the pristine coastline of the Al Batinah governorate and built on the site of the second Asian Beach Games. The family-friendly resort offers its guests a world-class leisure destination with five swimming pools, a secure children’s Play Area, an 18-hole Mini Golf Course, an on-site dive centre and an array of health and wellness facilities, in addition to state-of-the-art business facilities that collectively meet the demands of even the most discerning guests.
