Millennium Resort Mussanah Calls Sports Lovers to the Millennium Triathlon 2017

Millennium Resort Mussanah is calling on all prospective participants to claim their place in this year’s Millennium Triathlon before the registration period closes. Set to be held on October 27^th 2017, and held in association with Muscat Triathlon Club and Tri-ME Sporting Events the race has already gained significant traction with triathletes across the region as more than 50 have already confirmed their participation in this year’s event.

The Millennium Triathlon is scheduled to put the endurance of hundreds to the test, with the Batinah Coast and Al Hajjar Mountains helping to create the perfect environment for racers to conquer. Joining the three specifications of women, men and mixed, contenders can push their bodies to the limit in the Sprint and Olympic categories.

Challengers who choose to compete in the Sprint category can look forward to a 750 meter swim, a 20 kilometre bike ride, and a final 5 kilometre run to the finish line.  Olympic contestants on other hand will face a backbreaking 1,500 meter swim followed by an arduous 40 kilometre bike ride and a 10 kilometres run to complete the track.
