Ministry of Finance organizes Ramadan Charity Drive as part of its CSR efforts

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) recently held a Ramadan charity drive in partnership with Human Appeal International-UAE for clothes and second hand items over the period of three days at its headquarters in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The initiative was held in line with MoF’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts and its goal of positively contributing to the local community and enhancing the spirit of charity and giving during the holy month of Ramadan.

MoF employees were encouraged to join in the drive, where their donations were placed in designated Human Appeal International boxes. The organization will ensure their distribution to those in need both within and outside the UAE.

Commenting on the drive, Saif Ali Al Khatri, Director of Government Communications Department at MoF said: “Our Ramadan charity drive falls in line with our CSR efforts within the local community, and reflects the humanitarian sentiments of our employees, and their willingness to participate in charitable events. MoF’s CSR initiatives aim at enhancing and strengthening ties between different members of the UAE community.”
