Ministry of Finance visits Al Barza Club for the Elderly

In line with its efforts to support local social and humanitarian initiatives, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) organized a visit to the Al Barza Club for the Elderly in Dubai today to strengthen ties between the ministry and members of the UAE community. Participants included Saif Ali Al Khatri, Director of Government Communications Department at MoF, Fatima Saif Al Sawaya, Director of Human Resources (HR) at MoF, in addition to a number of employees from the Government Communications and HR departments. 

During the visit, the MoF delegate toured the facility and interacted with the residents where they attained a better understanding of the environment offered at the Al Barza Club. They were introduced to the club’s different departments, facilities, activities and organized trips. They were also informed about the different health care facilities available to residents.  

Commenting on the visit, Al Khatri said: “This visit reflects our commitment to reinforce ties between different segments of our community, and reflects our employees’ keenness to partake in humanitarian initiatives. The Ministry is adamant about organising such social visits as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, as it is our role to support our senior citizens who have played a significant part in developing our country.” 

At the conclusion of the visit, MoF employees presented the residents of the Barza Club with commemorative gifts as a token of appreciation for their efforts in supporting the UAE’s growth and development.
