MODA Mall showcases unique ‘Shoe’ exhibition

MODA Mall, Bahrain’s ultra-modern shopping destination located on the ground floor at Bahrain World Trade Center (BWTC) recently unveiled a unique ‘Shoe’ Exhibition in collaboration with Albareh Art Gallery

The exaggerated creations on display features classic cutting edge shoe designs by leading Syrian artist, Safaa Alset.  The exhibition which commenced on 20^th November showcases fashion in the form of art to our visitors and shoppers and will run until 30 November 2011. 

Safaa’s sculptures serve as a portrayal of women’s relationship with shoes – a never-ending attraction connected to femininity, nature, fashion and social status. Though normally associated with being tough and dull, Safaa was able to transform ordinary pieces of metal into works of art boasting a unique feminine elegance. Her original creations are well known for their rough yet beautiful texture and have featured in many exhibitions in Syria.

Offering a 1,700 space car park shared with the adjoining Bahrain World Trade Center, MODA Mall is open all days of the week from 10 a.m. till 10 p.m. Shoppers to the mall and visitors to the towers can avail of the car parking facilities free of charge by contacting the reception desk.
