Montblanc Celebrates Regional Launch of Its MeisterstüCk 'Le Petit Prince' Special Edition in Magical Style

In celebration of the power of imagination and the much-loved literary character of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s classic novel, Montblanc unveiled its Meisterstück Le Petit Prince Special Edition Collection at a regional launch in Dubai this week. Hosted by Franck Juhel, President of Montblanc Middle East, India and Africa (MEIA), VIP guests, media, social influencers and friends of the Maison spent an evening immersed in the charming magic of Le Petit Prince.

One of the world’s most translated books with editions in more than 250 languages and dialects, the allegorical story about the chance encounter between a pilot and a little prince from a distant planet provided ample opportunity to explore the universal themes of imagination, open-mindedness and the value of human relationships. Guests at the transformed INKED venue in Alserkal Avenue enjoyed interactive party playfulness with live touch walls, French graffiti artist Hakim Idriss customising Montblanc notebooks, a whimsical swing photo booth, and the musical charms of popular local DJ Karrohaut.

Franck Juhel, President Montblanc MEIA said: “Le Petit Prince has been universally popular for decades and remains as pertinent today as it did when it was written. The design of the first series Montblanc Le Petit Prince edition not only includes references to the young prince and fox in the story, it is also the first Meisterstück writing instrument to be crafted in blue resin. It is understandable why the pieces in this collection have been instantly sought after, and why our celebration of its launch here in the region has been so special.”

With design elements informed by Saint-Exupéry’s hand-drawn illustrations, the first series of Montblanc’s Meisterstück Le Petit Prince collection includes three writing instruments, a fine stationery notebook, woven leather bracelet, money clip and cufflinks which feature the characters of the young prince and the fox who enlightens him about the importance of close bonds and human relationships. Subsequent editions will highlight other characters from Le Petit Prince and the powerful messages they carry including the aviator and the planet.
