The reclamation work at the site of the Saada West seafront mixed use development in Bahrain's Muharraq is progressing well, Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company (Edamah) has announced.

Already 5 per cent of land reclamation has been completed, said Edamah, the real estate arm of the Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company.

The project covers a total site area of 18,100 sq m and will feature a promenade alongside a harbour with dedicated retail and dining experiences, entertainment facilities and an amphitheatre, opposite a modern marina for the mooring of boats, Edamah said.

"Edamah’s mandate to build signature destinations and support community living is reinforced in the Saada development," said Edamah acting CEO Mahmood Hashem Alkooheji.
