National Bank of Fujairah (NBF) has announced that seven UAE Nationals have graduated from the third cohort of its Management Trainee Programme (MTP). Launched in 2010, the programme aims to develop a sustainable pipeline of Emirati leaders not just for NBF, but for the local banking sector as a whole.

NBF’s Head of Human Resources Abdulla Aleter says that the bank has fine-tuned the programme over the years to ensure that it attracts more high-calibre candidates and that their on-the-job training best accommodate their career development plans. Fresh graduates selected for NBF’s MTP are immersed in a 12 month traineeship that features a one month induction programme, classroom training, job rotation and mentorship by members of the bank’s management committee.
