NBB Group Conducts Strategic Management Programme to Nurture Leadership Competencies Among Bahrainis

The National Bank of Bahrain Group (NBB Group) recently conducted its Strategic Management Programme supported by Labour Fund “Tamkeen,” reaffirming its commitment to cultivating outstanding leadership competencies among Bahrainis and continuing its long-standing focus on human capital development. This initiative represents a pivotal investment in the Group’s long-term capacity to drive sustainable growth, maintain its competitive edge, and proactively navigate emerging challenges and opportunities.

Tamkeen’s support for this initiative falls under its Enterprise Training Support Programme, which aligns with the organisation’s 2025 strategic priorities to strengthen the competitiveness of the national private sector workforce, and promoting the digitisation and sustained growth of institutions.

The programme was delivered in collaboration with the globally recognised Emeritus Management Institute and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), which also provided participants with access to its dedicated digital learning portal. The Bank’s employees took part in a series of sessions designed to enhance strategic thinking and decision-making agility amidst a rapidly evolving financial services landscape. 

Rigorous pre- and post-assessments, focused group coaching, and ongoing virtual follow-ups further reinforced learning outcomes and ensured their effective integration into daily leadership practices. Each participant also received formal certification from MIT upon completion. 

This initiative reflects NBB Group’s ongoing commitment to developing leaders with the insight and decision-making acumen to support the Group’s strategic ambitions and advance its leadership within Bahrain’s banking sector.
