NBF strengthens retail presence with branch in Fujairah City Center

The National Bank of Fujairah (NBF) announces the opening of its Fujairah City Centre (FCC) branch, the Bank’s first in a landmark mall and14^th in the UAE. Located within the newest and largest shopping destination in the Emirate, the FCC branch will provide residents with faster and more convenient access to NBF’s personal banking services and underscores the Bank’s ongoing commitment to Fujairah’s development.

A two-month promotional campaign will also be launched across Fujairah to celebrate the launch of the 1,800 sq ft branch, where customers signing up for NBF products will get to enjoy preferential rates, free gifts and other benefits.

Introducing new customer touch points like the FCC branch is also an extension of NBF’s core business, says CEO Vince Cook. The Bank was mandated lead arranger and underwriter for a ten-year, AED225 million credit facility for developer Majid Al Futtaim that went towards the construction of the mall.

“Expanding NBF’s personal banking services is in line with our strategy of broadening the range of our business and deepening existing customer relationships at the same time, and new branches like this will serve toexpand our overall presence in the UAE.”

Sharif Mohamed Rafei, NBF's Head of Retail Banking and Fujairah region says the branch’s prominent location, next to the main entrance, and its spacious interior makes it accessible to shoppers and businesses alike: “With our self-service kiosks and inviting banking and visitor areas, shoppers can do their banking errands quickly and comfortably, while our service officers are readily available to support the financial requirements of retailers in the mall. The branch will be an indispensable part of NBF’s efforts to bring banking closer to the community.”

Apart from its latest branch in FCC, NBF opened another in Al Ain last year as part of ongoing network enhancement efforts. The Bank has also renovated its branches in Sharjah and Fujairah city and recently commenced refurbishment of its Abu Dhabi branch.
