A New Digital Age Is Here With Ooredoo 5G Home Internet

The future is now as Ooredoo Oman launches its highly anticipated 5G Home Internet plans. At just OMR 28 per month for 20 MB speed and OMR 35 per month for 100 MB speed, customers will experience connectivity up to 10 times faster than current home internet services, along with a massive 1,000 GB of data. Customers will get a free plug-and-play 5G modem when they sign up for a 24 month contract. With ultra-low latency to dramatically improve video, gaming and VR, 5G is the gateway to a whole new world of wireless technology

Ooredoo has been preparing for the transition to 5G Home Internet since 2019, rolling out demonstrations and experience zones at stores in Muscat and Salalah. A number of customers in Muscat, Barka, Sohar, Salalah, Al Buraimi and Nizwa will be able to enjoy a new world of fast-speed connectivity.  With an ever-growing network, the state-of-the-art technology promises to dramatically increase the speed at which data is transferred. It is also expected to pave the way for other new technologies such as autonomous vehicles, virtual reality and the Internet of Things.
