Nisar Khan from KIB acknowledged among the top Business Continuity Managers in Asia

Kuwait international Bank  has announced that Nisar Ahmed Khan, Kuwait International Bank’s Head of Business Continuity, was among the nominees for Business Continuity Manager of the Year category of the prestigious BCI Asia Business Continuity Awards 2011, organized by the Business Continuity Institute – UK (BCI) and the Business Continuity Planning Asia (BCP Asia).  Khan was recently recognized at a ceremony which took place in Singapore. 

Mr. Abdulraheem Alawadhi, Executive Manager of Operations Department at KIB, said: “I feel very proud that Nisar Ahmed Khan was selected as being among the top Business Continuity Managers in Asia. His nomination is an endorsement of the effort exerted by the whole of KIB’s business continuity team. This acknowledgement also reflects the bank’s commitment to international standards in terms of business continuity and signifies KIB’s achievement of its objectives for being a safe and stable bank for its customers”.

Mr. Alawadhi also stressed that KIB has a highly experienced team of qualified business continuity experts who are equipped with integrated programs, qualifying the bank to protect its business in case of crisis.
