Nokia reaches out to Egypt’s Java Developers community at the 2012 Java Developers Conference

Nokia, the global leader in mobile phones, and more than 800 Java professionals and software developers will be meeting on the 9th and 10th of March at the Intercontinental City Stars for the biggest Java Development Conference (JDC) in the Middle East and Africa.

Nokia  has recently unveiled a bold portfolio of innovative  devices , services and accessories, including three new mobile phones which feature stylish design, a rich social experience and location-aware technology. The Nokia Asha range clearly blurs the line between smartphones and feature phones, offering QWERTY and touch screen experiences, combined with fast and easy access to the Internet, integrated social networking, messaging and world-class applications from the Nokia Store. 

Nokia will be hosting two sessions at the Java Development Conference led by Nokia experts. The “Nokia Developer Offering” will providing tools and opportunities for local developers while the “Nokia Software Development Kit Technical Introduction” panel will  provide the tools that users need to build desktop, embedded and mobile applications from a single install.

Through these sessions, Nokia will be featuring powerful mobile platform features for development opportunities in Nokia’s S40 devices in Egypt for 2012. The Series 40 platform is a software platform and application user interface, it is by far the most widely used mobile platform found in hundreds of millions of devices.

Nokia Asha 303
