noon.com, the region’s homegrown digital marketplace, ended its craziest sale of the year, the Yellow Friday Sale, with a bang after a 9-day extravaganza across KSA, the UAE and Egypt.
Noon’s biggest ever Yellow Friday sale was live from the 21st until the 30th of November, with more than 50,000 brands and over 6,000 sellers taking part in the event. Over 10,000 noon delivery vehicles travelled more than 150 times around the earth, ringing 200 doorbells a minute across the region. Customers were also treated to exciting raffle prizes, winning luxury staycations, cars, and many more surprises.
In the runup to the sale, noon wowed customers with wild stunts such as taking over the world’s largest indoor aquarium, Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, scaling KAFD in Riyadh, KSA, and reaching new heights over 152 floors up on the Burj Khalifa.
Much-loved celebrities also joined ‘the craziest sale ever’, sharing messages of support with fans. ‘Arab Queen of Pop’ Nancy Ajram, Saudi TV star Abdullah Al-Sadhan, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, and legendary cricketer Virat Kohli all joined the Yellow Friday madness. Manchester City Football Club players and Hollywood star Priyanka Chopra Jonas also joined, much to the delight of customers.
