Noor Bank, Dubai Police Join Hands to Fight Drug Abuse

Noor Bank, a leading Shari’a-compliant bank in the UAE, joined public and private sector organisations in the UAE in supporting the ‘International Day Against Drug Abuse’ campaign hosted by the General Directorate for Drug Control at Dubai Police.
The three-day campaign held at The Dubai Mall, aimed at raising awareness of the major social challenges that result from illicit drugs. As part of the campaign, visitors to the mall were encouraged to participate in a wide range of workshops and seminars to promote awareness of the adverse impact of drugs.
Sami Al Awadi, Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Government Relations, Noor Bank received a memento from His Excellency Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police. Brigadier Eid Mohammed Thani Hareb, Director of the General Department of Antinarcotics, His Excellency Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs, and Colonel Khalid Ali Muwaiza, Deputy Director of the General Department of Antinarcotics, were also present at the ceremony.
