OCTAL showcases Omani talent during first in-house photography exhibition

OCTAL organized an exhibition showcasing the work of in-house photographer and employee Sam Bait Tawfiq as part of its deep-rooted commitment to supporting the individual growth of its staff. More than 150 people attended the exhibition including a number of government officials and local stakeholders including a delegation from the Photography Society of Oman (PSO) led by Mr. Anwar Al Ibrahim, Manager of the PSO in the Governorate of Dhofar.

Sam, who currently works as an HSE Officer at OCTAL, began his journey as a photographer in 1991. Since then, his skills and reputation have continued to grow leading to him being appointed OCTAL’s official photographer for special events and gaining admittance into the Oman Society for Fine Arts. Sam, said, “From the outset, OCTAL has encouraged my growth as a photographer and it is truly a privilege to able to introduce my work to larger numbers of people. This exhibition is a milestone that marks a new phase in my photography career and I would like to thank everyone at OCTAL for all the support they have given me.”
