Ooredoo and Abdullah Al Nouri Charity Association aids Syrian refugees

In collaboration with Abdullah Al-Nouri Charity Association, Ooredoo Kuwait, a member of international Ooredoo Group, has recently launched a charitable campaign to help aiding the Syrian refugees in different countries around the world. Campaign will be promoted using a dedicated hashtag through Ooredoo’s social media channels encouraging the public to donate money to save the lives of those refugees in Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey. 

Through this campaign Ooredoo followers and fans will be able to contribute and donate the money through the association’s website www.alnouri.org with their debit or credit cards. There are no limits to the donations that can be made while minimal amount is 1 KD. 

Commenting on the charitable campaign, Mijbil Alalyoub, Director of Corporate Communication at Ooredoo said: “Pleased to tie up Abdullah Al-Nouri Charity Association to promote good well during the month of Ramadan, the campaign aims at providing Syrian refugees with the help required to fulfill their minimum needs. Through our corporate social responsibility policy we aim at giving back to the communities and Ramadan the perfect time to do so.” 

Ramadan will also witness the second edition of Ooredoo’s successful volunteer program. Volunteers will be the main force in planning and executing a number of events running simultaneously across Kuwait, focusing on volunteerism.
