Ooredoo Celebrates the International Day of Persons with Disabilities
Reflecting its commitment to support human growth across Oman, Ooredoo recently sponsored the Ministry of Social Development’s celebrations of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The commemorative event included a variety of fun-filled activities as well as a live musical performance by the Royal Guard of Oman to highlight the importance of fully integrating people with disabilities into society. With representatives from the Ministries of Education, Sports Affairs and Health on hand to provide support, the initiative successfully promoted the inclusive and sustainable development persons suffering from disabilities in all spheres of society.
A number of stakeholders attended the event, including representatives from the Royal Oman Police, Sultan Qaboos University, and Ooredoo. The celebrations concluded with a marathon race, where contestants and the event’s sponsors were honoured by a senior ministerial executive.
