Ooredoo CEO Visit to Dhofar Sets Future Growth Plans in Motion
As part of Ooredoo’s efforts to enhance its presence across the Sultanate, Chief Executive Officer Ian Dench recently led a delegation on a strategic visit to the Governorate of Dhofar. Meeting with His Excellency Sheikh Muhanna bin Saif Al Lamki, Deputy Governor of Dhofar, and His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Mohsin Al Ghassani, Chairman of Dhofar Municipality, the visit focused on strengthening relations, laying out future expansion plans and highlighting how Ooredoo can continue to facilitate the unique communication needs of the region.
Dench was joined by Ghaneem Al Mashikhi, Ooredoo’s Director for the Dhofar Region, to build on Ooredoo’s continuing efforts in the region, which includes network and retail expansion as well as hosting B2B events and directing several CSR initiatives. Ooredoo is also a long-term supporter of the annual Salalah Tourism Festival, where its dedicated stand not only allows face-to-face engagement with customers but brings the latest in telecom technology to them, while showcasing a fantastic range of cutting-edge and value-added products and services.
