Ooredoo concludes employees football tournament
Ooredoo Kuwait, a member of the international Ooredoo Group, announced the end of its second annual employees’ football tournament last Thursday – The Ooredoo Cup.
The winner of the final game was Customer Care FC 1, scoring three goals against one goal by B2B 2 team. Aside from awarding the two winning teams, Ooredoo awarded the best player, best goal keeper, fair play award, and top scorer.
The awarding ceremony was attended by a number of senior managers at Ooredoo Kuwait, headed by CEO Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Thani. Director of Corporate Communications Mijbil Alayoub said: “We are very happy to see employees enjoy their time and engage in a friendly activity away from the office routine and environment. We’re very keen on investing in our employees and have year-long activities for employee engagement.”
The tournament stems from Ooredoo’s main values: to care, connect and challenge. Winning first place was Customer Care FC 1, while B2B 2 came in second. Essa Al-Sarraf won best player, Mohammad Al-Shammari won best goalkeeper, Talal Mubarak won top scorer, while Mohammad Dashti won the fair play award.
