Ooredoo Kuwait, a member of the international Ooredoo Group, had recently conducted a fire drill in collaboration with General Administration of Civil Defense and Ministry of Interior at its headquarter, to increase its employees’ awareness on how to protect themselves in case of fire. All staff at the head office rehearsed evacuation procedures during the drill to ensure that they knew where to go and what to do at the event of a real emergency.

The emergency evacuation exercise is a top priority for Ooredoo Kuwait and is part of the safety plan it follows. The success of the fire drill has helped ensuring that all staff are fully aware of the procedures they must follow to ensure their own safety and safety of the others including customers and visitors in the event of a fire or similar emergency.

The fire drill was successfully completed in less than 10 minutes, where the appointed volunteers for safety on each floor supervised the evacuation process and guided individuals directly to the assembly points outside the building. Ooredoo Kuwait organizes regular safety drills and briefings for employees as part of its strong commitment to upholding world class standards and operational practice.
