Ooredoo donates 5,000 USD for Fight Against Rheumatoid

Ooredoo Kuwait, a member of the international Ooredoo Group, hosted a gala dinner in coordination with the Patient Helping Fund Society recently as part of a fundraising campaign entitled “Join the Fight Against Rheumatoid.”

During the gala, Ooredoo Kuwait donated 5,000 USD for the event’s organizer, the Patients Helping Fund Society, which are aimed to raise funds for 150 patients on their waiting lists, in an effort to make the necessary treatment available to all in need. 

Commenting on the company’s contribution, Mijbil Alayoub, Director of Corporate Communications at Ooredoo Kuwait said: “We always believed in the importance of playing an active role in participating to help others. We are honoured to be working with an esteemed organization such as the Patients Helping Fund Society for this event, and we look forward to taking part in more events that contribute to the society”.

Ooredoo’s support to this cause comes in line with the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy, which focuses a great deal on supporting health initiative and promoting a healthier Kuwait.
