Ooredoo Executive Management participate in iftar distribution

A team of Ooredoo Kuwait’s executive management participated in distributing meals in the company’s iftar tent, located across on Soor Street across its head office. The management team was led by the company’s General Manager and CEO Sheikh Mohammed bin Abudllah Al Thani.

Attending this event stems from the management’s deep-rooted belief in participating in all events across the organization, especially the ones related to its social resposnsibility program which is bulilt on caring, connecting and challenging.  Commenting on this visit, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Thani said: “We’re very happy to be interacting with different segmnets of society in our various year-round activities, especially the underserved communities in our iftar tent, which is one of our key initiatives every year.”

Earlier this month, Ooredoo announced that it will be distrbuting 17,000 iftar meals during the Holy Month of Ramadan through a distribution centre outside its head office and in its iftar tent, which which Ooredoo is running for the second consecutive year. The tent is located opposite Ooredoo’s head office on Soor Street in Kuwait City. The meal distribution drive is fully operated by Ooredoo’s volunteer program members, after the great success of the progam last year.

In addition to the Iftar distribution drive, Ooredoo is conducting several charitable events, such as visits to nursing homes, orphanages and patients at different hospitals across Kuwait to celebrate Girgia’n.
