Ooredoo Kuwait Wins Two Prestigious HRM Awards: “Employer of Choice” & “Best Employee Benefits Package”

Ooredoo Kuwait proudly announced its recognition as both “Employer of Choice” and winner of the “Best Employee Benefits Package” award at the 17th Annual HRM Summit, Awards & Expo 2025, held last week at the Diplomat Radisson Blu in Bahrain. The event was held under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency Yousif bin Abdul Hussain Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Minister of Labour.
The HRM Summit is one of the region’s most influential gatherings of decision-makers, executives, HR professionals, CHROs, CEOs, and thought leaders from leading organizations across the Middle East. This year’s edition focused on the theme “Pure HR”, featuring keynote speeches, panel discussions, deep dives, fireside chats, and workshops that shared authentic and inspiring HR success stories from across different industries.
At the close of the summit, Ooredoo Kuwait was honored in two major categories, recognizing the company’s ongoing investment in people, culture, and innovation.
Investing in human capital has always been a core pillar of Ooredoo Kuwait’s strategy. As a people-oriented company, Ooredoo continuously strives to provide an outstanding work environment for its employees — regarded as the backbone of the company’s success and the driving force behind its service excellence and expansion.
In line with this commitment, the company has launched several training and development programs designed to enhance employee skills at all levels — from newcomers embarking on their career journey to experienced professionals and emerging leaders.
Omar Al Bassam, Chief Human Resources & Administration Officer at Ooredoo Kuwait, commented: “We are proud to be named Employer of Choice and recognized for our outstanding employee benefits. This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to creating a workplace where people can truly thrive. Our strategy focuses on flexibility, capability building, health and safety leadership, recognition, and inclusion — all rooted in a people-first culture that fuels both engagement and innovation.”
Al Bassam added: “As a people-oriented company, we believe employees are the true capital of any successful organization. That’s why we invest heavily in training and developing our national workforce — equipping them with the latest knowledge and skills to help them stay ahead in their fields. We ensure they receive continuous support to foster their professional growth and empower them to achieve both their personal and professional goals.”
