Ooredoo marks Omani Women’s Day by holding the 5th annual Women’s Incubator Forum

Ooredoo celebrated the achievements of women across the country with the 5th Women’s Incubator Forum, held on Sunday 16 October under the auspices of HH Sayyida Hujaija Jaifer Al Said, President of the Disabled Children Association, and officials from the Ministry of Social Development. 

The annual forum brought together women’s associations, female employees at Ooredoo and short code partners from charitable associations and charity teams, alongside low-income families under the umbrella of the Ministry of Social Development to explore innovative ways to help businesswomen in Oman reach their full potential for the benefit of themselves, their families and the wider community.

During the event, Ooredoo also shared the latest innovations and upcoming initiatives to empower current trainees in Ooredoo’s Springboard programme, led by Ayesha Al Shoily, Ooredoo’s Head of CSR, and demonstrate how they can utilise cutting-edge technologies in the ever-evolving digital world to promote their products and enhance the overall success of their projects. 

The event also honoured the achievements of women in the community, and an exhibition that showcased products produced, from which the best will be selected for future display and marketing. Entertainment and contests were also held.

Furthermore, a lecture on the license for making homemade business products was presented by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment promotion.
