Ooredoo Returns to the Starting Line at Muscat Marathon 2026

Ooredoo sponsors the 2026 Muscat Marathon once again! The event returns to the capital on Friday and Saturday, 23–24 January 2026, at the new central location Sahat Al Khuwair. Through its ongoing support, Ooredoo is reinforcing not just the exhilaration, but the marathon’s role as a platform for health, inclusivity and community participation.

The company is backing two of the event’s key race categories; the Ooredoo Half Marathon (21.1 km) and the Ooredoo Fun Run (2.5 km). These races reflect the inclusive spirit of the event, offering both a competitive challenge and an accessible entry point for runners of all ages and abilities.

The Muscat Marathon 2026 is expected to attract more than 15,000 participants, bringing together elite athletes, amateur runners, families and first-time participants. 

The sponsorship aligns with Oman Vision 2040, supporting national objectives around public health, community wellbeing and the development of sports tourism, while helping position Muscat as a vibrant destination for major sporting events.
