Ooredoo Tawasul Ramadan Football Tournament

Giving young people across Oman the perfect opportunity to focus on their health and talent, Ooredoo was the main sponsor of the third edition of the Tawasul Ramadan Football Tournament for actors, social media influencers and people working in the media sector. With eight teams fighting for the title, the exciting final was held at the Middle East College’s Student Hub. 

Before the grand finale took place, a friendly was held between a team from Ooredoo against a team of local footballing legends and famous social influencers. The dream team had none other than Ali Al Habsi, Hassan Al Mudhadar, Sultan Al Tuqi, and Imad Al Hosni to name but a few former national team stars, as well as key influencers. 

The event attracted hundreds of football fans, while H.E. Mohammed bin Suliamn Al Kindy, Governor of North Batinah, served as the guest of honor. The finals were attended by other high-profile individuals including Bassam Al Ibrahim, Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo, as well as the company’s Chief Commercial Officer, Ahmed Diwan.
