Ooredoo Wins Leading Corporate for Investor Relations and Best Investor Relations Professional at the 2020 MEIRA Annual Conference

(“Ooredoo”) Ticker: ORDS.QA, today announced that it has won two prestigious awards at the 2020 Middle East Investor Relations Association (“MEIRA”) Annual Conference and Awards Ceremony in recognition of its leading position in providing best practice Investor Relations (IR) in the region.

At the MEIRA awards ceremony, held on 22 September, Ooredoo Group has won the “Leading Corporate for Investor Relations” – Qatar”, and “Best Investor Relations Professional – Qatar”.

It was held this year under the theme “Driving stakeholder value,” recognising the importance of all stakeholders who play an essential role in the IR landscape and reflecting the importance of IR in responding to changes in market structure, regulation and technology. This year, the event was held virtually due to the current pandemic environment.
