Orange Jordan signs partnership agreement with the King Hussein Cancer Center and Foundation

As part of its ongoing aims to support projects that promise further social development for the community, Orange Jordan recently signed a partnership agreement with the King Hussein Cancer Center and Foundation. Through the agreement signed the company will be providing the latter with the sum of JD 15000 to go as a donation for its facility expansion project. The expansion project will comprise the construction of a new building, set to be located on the plot of land opposing the center. Anticipated to be three times the size of the current facility; the new building will accommodate a larger number of patients.
This donation forms an integral part of the 1-year partnership agreement signed by both sides. Signing the agreement on behalf of Orange Jordan was its CEO Mr. Jean Francois Thomas and on behalf of the center was its Director General HRH Princess Dina Mired.
Mr. Thomas said that the company is always keen on supporting initiatives that are geared towards elevating healthcare standards in Jordan as well as public health awareness amongst citizens. He further stated that the company places special attention to supporting the King Hussein Cancer Center, for the pivotal role it plays in treating cancer patients across Jordan and the region at large.
It is worth noting that Orange Jordan’s contributions to the healthcare sector and specifically the relieving of hardships faced by cancer patients is one that stems from its extensive CSR strategy. This strategy supports the segments of education, culture, sports, and arts, alongside the sponsorship of major events taking place in Jordan.
