Orange Jordan launches “Lamsa” application for children

As part of its ongoing aims to support education, Orange Jordan launched the flagship Arabic mobile educational application "Lamsa”, targeting Arabic - speaking children aged between 1 - 6 years. 

“Lamsa”, which is associated with Intigral, the content right owner, is the first of its kind mobile application to be launched in the world. Falling in line with company’s ongoing resolve to enrich lives through providing innovative communication solutions that comply with modern lifestyle needs, the new application is set to enrich children’s imagination, and provide an enjoyable edge to learning, while simultaneously allowing parents to monitor the entertaining and educational content available to their young ones.

Compatible with smartphones and tablets, “Lamsa” offers fully integrated modern and folk tales, interactive motion picture enhancements, and a collection of coloring, painting and singing games that are developed by Ertiqa, a group of Jordanian developers who have insight on early-education.

Commenting on the new launch, Orange Jordan’s CEO Jean-Francois Thomas explained that the introduction of this new digital service further exemplifies the company’s deep rooted understanding of the impact technology has on the day to day activities of individuals of all age groups.
