Orange Jordan recently held an interactive direct marketing campaign marking the launch of its 4G network in the Kingdom. The campaign targeted different segments of the local community, which allowed current and potential customers to experience the unprecedented speeds offered by 4G technology, in addition to giving them the chance to win a variety of valuable prizes.

The campaign, which lasted an entire week, brought a variety of entertainment segments to a number of urban areas in Amman, featuring the participation of Orange Jordan's Dynamo team — a group of Jordanian university students specialized in the direct marketing of Orange products. The segments included a fleet of vehicles sporting Orange's 4G branding, which roamed Amman's main streets and popular destinations, in addition to a series of celebrations held at Al Wakalat and Rainbow streets and the Abdali Boulevard. The celebrations featured musical, comedic and athletic performances, together with various competitions that included video game tournaments.

Orange had launched its 4G network in May 2014, delivering a wealth of connectivity options to individuals and enterprises in the Kingdom and allowing them to experience the best that wireless broadband can offer at speeds reaching 70 Mbps. The network will initially cover most urban areas in Amman and will extend to cover the rest of the Kingdom by Q3 2015.

The management of Orange Jordan explained that this campaign came to reflect the operator's continued efforts to integrate cutting edge practices into various aspects of its operations, including marketing and direct customer engagement, which directly reflect the people-centric principles of its strategy. The management also noted that the innovative approach employed by the campaign also demonstrate the cutting-edge nature of Orange's 4G services, emphasizing the operator's efforts to integrate its customers into its various activities, particularly those reflective of the unique team spirit that drives its internal operations.

The many prizes offered by Orange to its customers throughout the campaign include balloon rides to Wadi Rum, trips to Ferarri World in Abu Dhabi, and tickets to attend a live showing of X-Factor.
