Orange Jordan provides free WiFi at the Boulevard

Orange Jordan recently launched its free-of-charge Facebook Connect WiFi service, which will provide free WiFi connectivity at the Boulevard. The service will cater all the visitors of the Boulevard Spine during December Christmas season event.

The launch of this service comes as part of Orange Jordan's continued efforts to broaden the scope of the exclusive services offered to visitors of the Boulevard, which is one of Amman's most popular hot spots during holiday seasons and national occasions. This falls in line with the operator's Essentials 2020 strategy.

Facebook Connect WiFi service will offer Boulevard visitors an easy solution to stay connected to friends and beloved ones during the holiday celebrations, with full access to the web and social media platforms. The connection is seamlessly facilitated through a user's Facebook account and can be enjoyed through a number of access points strategically located throughout the Boulevard Spine.

Orange Jordan's CEO, Jerome Henique, explained that Facebook Connect represents Orange Jordan's commitment to reach customers wherever they are, noting that the service reflects Orange's awareness of the important role played by the Internet as a tool for uninterrupted connectivity in this day and age.

Henique also noted that this service will further reinforce Orange Jordan's ten-year partnership with the Boulevard, which stems from the operator’s understanding of the key role played by Abdali project in the long-term urban development of downtown Amman. The operator will continue to deliver both free and paid services exclusively tailored to benefit the public visitors and businesses of the Boulevard.

Currently, Orange Jordan's showroom at Abdali offers a wide array of fixed line, mobile, internet, content, customer services and business solutions, all of which are geared toward simplifying the daily lives of its target demographics. The operator is also providing Abdali project with an integrated network of telecom services, together with the required infrastructure for high-speed fiber connectivity managed entirely by its qualified technicians.
