Park Rotana Hotel host Iftar gathering with the Red Crescent orphanage
[Abu Dhabi], [5.4.24] - Park Rotana Hotel, Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent Society, participated in a group iftar that was organized for orphans which brought them together with their relatives at Ginger Restaurant to bring happiness and joy during the holy month of Ramadan, in addition to the tree planting activity inside the hotel as the UAE marks Zayed Humanitarian Work Day, which falls on the 19th of Ramadan.
The hotel's activities coincide with Zayed Humanitarian Work Day and the Year of Sustainability. Organizing group Iftars and communicating with participants are a means to achieve the values of participation and giving which are top priorities in our work in the social sector. This enhances Abu Dhabi’s global position in caring for people and is the real key to advancing sustainable development.
Majid Abdullah bin Saad, founder of the Athar Volunteer Team and Emirates Nature’s Ambassador, said: “Today we are happy with the orphans participating in the group Iftar and their contribution with us to humanitarian and environmental work by following in the footsteps of the founding father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him, by planting trees so that we can all have a sustainable impact. It lasts and continues in the land of goodness and giving, and through it we achieve our goal of all of us being partners to achieve impact.”
