PepsiCo-Jordan sponsors Ayla Red Sea Half Marathon in Aqaba

In line with efforts to support various sporting and youth activities across the Kingdom, PepsiCo-Jordan sponsoredthe Ayla Red Sea Half Marathon. Organized by Run Jordan, the Marathon took place on Friday 12December, 2014, in the coastal city of Aqaba.

As part of its agreement with Run Jordan, PepsiCo-Jordan distributed its Aquafina bottled water as the Marathon’s official and exclusive source of pure drinking water, and handed out PepsiCo productsto participating runners, organizers and staff.   

“Sponsoring the Marathon for the eighth consecutive year is closely aligned with our goal to promote a healthy lifestyle, as well as endorse a culture that encourages exercise. At PepsiCo-Jordan, our support is not limited to sporting activities, but also extends to encompass organizations that work towards advancing the community on the social, health and tourism fronts,” commented Eng. Nidal Hamam, General Manager of PepsiCo-Jordan. 

In turn, Run Jordan Deputy Director Lina Kurd, stated, “We would like to thank PepsiCo-Jordan for its continuous support and for being an invaluable strategic partner for all of Run Jordan’s sporting activities throughout the year.”
