PMU Rector Leads University team to Chinese and Singaporean institution visit

A delegation from Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University (PMU) led by Rector, Dr. Issa Al-Ansari visited few Chinese and Singaporean universities and institutes of higher learning for potential tie-ups and collaborations.

This delegation visited number of institutions in both the countries and observed their academic culture prior to the tie-ups done.

PMU has already signed agreements with a few Chinese institutions including the prestigious Beijing Institute of Technology for the exchange programs in the information technology courses.

Dr. Al-Ansari stressed upon the future "steps which would further boost such partnerships with the means to organize annual conferences and seminars for mutual cooperation. This visit, intended to hold an array of meetings, would define the key purpose of PMU as far as its global role to impart latest academic initiatives beyond the border of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is concerned."

This visit was planned with an aim to extend cooperation from PMU to these Asian nations with which partnerships were proposed to excel in academic fields. "It will strengthen relations as collaborations with the institutions of higher learning globally are to explore modern academic trends," said Dr. Al-Ansari.

PMU takes initiatives to invite world's topmost educational institutions for tie-ups since its foundation. Its academic and administrative leadership visit globally recognized institutions for agreements which would bridge the relationships between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other nations concerned.

Major areas at which these agreements are done include teaching and research besides establishing joint research centers.
