Dubai's Ports Customs and Free Zone Corporation Showcases 26 Ambitious Initiatives at DGAE
Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) takes part in Dubai Government Achievements Exhibition (DGAE) in its 6th cycle which runs from 9 to 11 April under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai at Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC).
PCFC will use the event to exchange expertise with other exhibitors in the government field, to showcase its achievements and to highlight the role of artificial intelligence and technical breakthroughs in innovating its services and products. The Corporation is taking part this year with 26 smart initiatives under the theme “Gateway to making the future” at stand B-8, hall (7). Also, PCFC’s senior officials will participate in the workshops and activities; Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director of Dubai Customs will be there in “Ask Government Leaders” event on Tuesday 10 April, at 11:30am to answer questions from visitors, exhibitors, and journalists.
PCFC is participating this year with a number of ambitious projects including Claim & Refund, Authorized Economic Program, Post Clearance Audit, I Declare, E-Integrated Goods Clearance Operation, Business 2 Government, Dubai Maritime Virtual Cluster,Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) solution, NAU initiative, amongst others. Visitors will have the chance to win valuable prizes by participating in the competitions that PCFC will hold during the exhibition.

DP World Group Chairman expressed his happiness with PCFC’s participation in this year’s edition of DGAE, which is the biggest so far.
Director of Dubai Customs, Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, commented on this participation by saying:” Our initiatives this year revolve around supporting and hosting Expo 2020, especially that we have won the best government department supporting Expo 2020. We divided them into two main channels; one that focuses on facilitation of trade and the other on enhancing security and protection of society”.
Dubai Customs is a Government body that facilitates free trade and help secure the integrity of Dubai's borders. It aims to be a world leader in Customs administration through innovative and proactive services. It recognizes the importance of its role in the trade supply chain and endeavour to intervene in the flow of goods and passengers. Collecting customs revenue and administering trade measures are other major duties.
