Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation Takes Part in the Institute of Internal Auditors International Conference 2018

Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) participated in The Institute of Internal Auditors International Conference as a main sponsor. The event runs this year under the theme ‘Connecting the World Through Innovation’. This best-in-class program aimed to raise awareness amongst the industry, delve into timely issues impacting the profession, its effect on performance and provide participants a glimpse of the latest advancements in the field.

Held under the patronage of the Vice President of UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Institute of Internal Auditors International Conference was organised in close collaboration with the UAE Internal Auditors Association and took place at Dubai World Trade Centre.

The four-day event drew more than 3,000 delegates from over 110 countries. Furthermore, over 100 notable experts brought professionals up to speed on the latest auditing and accounting developments through more than 70 sessions in 10 educational streams.

Nadya Kamali, Direcor of Audit and Revenue Growth in PCFC participated in the leading expert session at the conference and discussed issues of future corporate governance and technological advancement.

The Audit and Revenue Growth Department in PCFC also introduced its role in enhancing governance and internal auditing to other participants and visitors.
