Prince Andrew Duke of York visits STC Group and meets with Senior Executives

HRH Prince Andrew, Duke of York, visited STC Group where he met with eng. Saud Bin Majid Al Daweesh the Group CEO and Jameel Bin Abdullah Al Molhem CEO of STC, as part of his visit to the Kingdom which aimed at strengthening trade and investment relations between the United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During his visit Prince Andrew viewed the Group's facilities including the King Khalid Center for National Network Control where he was briefed on the 4G LTE services.  The Company was the first operator to launch in the region. Prince Andrew also was briefed on the features of Invision, STC’s interactive television service.

As part of the meeting, Prince Andrew held a meeting with STC Group leadership during which the discussion focused on the CIT sector as part of the firm cooperation program between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.

From his end STC Group CEO expressed his happiness about this visit signaling that it comes as part of reinforcing relations between the Saudi Arabia and United Kingdom. He added that the Duke of York’s visit to STC Group comes as an affirmation to the company’ global position worldwide as one of the top 20 telecom operators, as well as an opportunity to present the Group’s key achievements to His Highness the Duke of York.
