Mrs. Mayan Zebeib, Chief Communications Officer, QF, said: “We are delighted to be hosting Tamer Almisshal. This event is just one example of how we, at Qatar Foundation, constantly strive to provide access to knowledge and information, and, in doing so, work to foster social engagement among the local community. This event is an opportunity to facilitate thought-provoking discussions and encourage critical thinking, while challenging claims, decisions, and assumptions.”
Tamer Almisshal is a Palestinian filmmaker and television journalist with years of experience covering conflict and reporting from war zones. He has extensively covered the Palestine-Israel conflict for Al Jazeera. He has also worked for the BBC, and, in 2015 presented at #TEDxShujaiya; the first TEDx in the Gaza Strip.
