Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF), and Omran Hamad Al-Kuwari, Executive Director, CEO Office, QF, welcomed a delegation from UNESCO to Education City today.

Her Excellency Sheikha Hind discussed future plans at QF and the potential for collaboration opportunities with the 12-member international delegation at QF Headquarters. Her Excellency explained how QF’s flagship development, Education City, serves as a hub of academic excellence, housing a range of educational facilities, from QF schools to partner universities and its homegrown institution, Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU).

Following the meeting, the visitors were given a comprehensive presentation highlighting QF’s different education institutes, science and research centers, and community development initiatives. They were also given a tour of the open-air viewing platform on the eighth floor of QF HQ.
