Ramada Ajman organises Premier Cricket League for R Hotels

Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman, a premier destination for business and leisure travellers, hosted the Premier Cricket League for employees of R Hotels, at Maleb Sports Complex in Ajman. 

The tournament, which was participated in by 12 teams of 132 players from 13 different countries, was graced with the presence of Bani Haddad, Regional Vice President of Wyndham Hotel Group and Sumair Tariq, Executive Director of R Hotels. The players were from Ramada Hotel and Suites Ajman, Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman, Ramada Downtown Dubai, and R Hotels Head Office. 

Iftikhar Hamdani, General Manager, Ramada Hotel and Suites Ajman, commented, “The tournament was organised to promote a healthy and active lifestyle among employees through sports like cricket. We likewise aim to introduce this sport to different nationalities and not restrict it to the staff from the subcontinent. In addition, the event demonstrates the strong camaraderie amongst the members of our organisation and we look forward to carrying out more activities like this in the future.”   

To add fun and excitement to the game, special awards were given including Man of the Match, Player of the Tournament, Most Sixes of the Tournament, Best Catch of the Tournament and Highest Wicket Taker of the Tournament. Lucky spectators also received special prizes. At the final round of the tournament, the Ramada Lions emerged victorious, while Ramada Tigers was hailed as runner-up.
