Renowned Qatari Artist Ahmed Al Maadeed Engages Visitors at Qatar National Library

On the occasion of Qatar National Day, Qatar National Library hosted renowned Qatari artist Ahmed Al Maadeed, who took the audience through his creative journey as an artist and talked about the creation of his iconic painting “Tamim The Glorious.”
The audience had the opportunity to hear from the artist, who shared the story behind his artworks, and have their photo taken with him and received autographs.
Al Maadeed said: “I would like to thank the Library for organizing today’s workshop. It was a great opportunity for young artists in Qatar to engage with each other and share their interpretations of Qatar National Day and their aspirations for the future of our country.”
Arwa Al Faori, who attended the event, commented: “The event was very interesting and really helped me understand the artistic journey of a young Qatari artist. His style is unique and represents the artistic ambitions of a new generation in Qatar. ”
