Ritz-Carlton, Amman says 1st year successful

ALBAWABA - The Ritz-Carlton, Amman, ended its first year in Jordan with a high note, the hotel said in a statement.

While the hotel is known worldwide, it is "creating its unique mark and is witnessing its very own wave of achievements since it opened
its doors" in Jordan, the statement said.

It said the hotel launched operations in Jordan as "part of the progressive Royal Vision," a 10-year plan introduced by Jordan's King Abdullah II and projects a complete overhauling of economic policy and initiating new projects.

The statement outlined its community outreach in the kingdom, saying it participated in several initiatives to improve the living conditions for Jordanians. It said that included supporting the Al-Aman Fund, a non-profit organization that supports the education of vulnerable children residing in the orphan care centers.

"The hotel also collaborated with the Social Enterprise project (SEP), a local luxury fashion brand with a social impact focus, to release an exclusive line of hand-embroidered clothing and accessories inspired by the hotel’s color palettes and designs," according to the statement.

"The fashion line items are exclusively sold at the hotel, with every item skillfully crafted by women refugees," it added.

The Ritz-Carlton, Amman also boasts of fine dining, hosting conferences for top international travel and tourism industry leaders as well as local corporate and social events, such as wedding parties.
