Rixos Hotels Gulf Champions Community Engagement by Partnering with DOFA to Elevate Youth Football in the UAE

DOFA, the official youth league for academies in Dubai, is backed by the Dubai Sports Council and the UAE Football Association, making it the largest youth football event in the United Arab Emirates. It is renowned for organising over 32,000 matches down through the years, involving more than 25,000 players, 1,500 teams, and 250 clubs.

The organisation has chosen Rixos Hotels as its exclusive hotel partner, recognising the brand’s alignment with its mission of enhancing community development through sports. As the first-ever hotel chain to partner with DOFA, Rixos Hotels is set to play a pivotal role in supporting the region’s biggest youth football championship. To demonstrate their commitment to this partnership, referees in all DOFA leagues will now have the Rixos logo on their uniform.

Through this partnership, Rixos Hotels will provide player-of-the-match MVP awards during award ceremonies held at Rixos Hotels throughout the country along with extending exclusive 20% discounts off room rates across all UAE Rixos Hotels to DOFA members. They will also be actively contributing to the growth of the Talents Club initiative, aimed at discovering and rewarding young talented players and they have given a series of room vouchers to DOFA, which will be used as giveaways or raffle prizes throughout the year.
