RJ celebrates Mother’s Day in villages close to the airport
Royal Jordanian celebrated Mother’s Day, which is observed in Jordan on March 21, with more than 100 women living in villages close to Queen Alia International Airport. The move reflects RJ’s appreciation for the role played by mothers in their families and their contribution to the progress of the society.
The RJ staff presented gifts and sweets to the mothers, in collaboration with women associations in two villages. Toys were also distributed to the children of these villages who presented a varied performance to celebrate their mothers.
The initiative is part of the company’s strategy of interacting with the local community, particularly with the elderly, on the occasion of certain social events.
The heads of the associations expressed appreciation for the RJ move, and for the charity work it performs every year.
